Kindly note the following:
Every employee is required to produce the following certificates at the time of selection and appointment:
- Medical Certificate of Fitness from a Medical Practitioner approved by the school, if necessary.
- Certificate of Last Drawn Salary: A salary certificate for the last three months from the previous employer (or three months' bank statement of the same).
- Two Reference Letters from educationalists or well-k individuals (not related to the candidate), certifying the character and conduct, which will satisfy the school authorities.
- Original Degree/Diploma Certificates with attested copies thereof. Original certificates can be collected by the employee within three months after verification.
- Police Verification Certificate, domicile certificate, and address proof certificates are recommended.
- If a selected candidate does not join duty on the specified date after signing the contract or appointment letter, they will be required to pay a mutually agreed-upon sum of restitution.
Selection Procedure:
- Written Screening Test:
- To assess handwriting and basic English proficiency.
- To evaluate the general attitude and worldview of the teacher candidate.
- Selected candidates will be called for a demo class and interview with the evaluation board to assess competence, confidence, language, classroom management, etc. (Time and date will be communicated to you at the earliest.)
- The call letter for the interview and demo class will be sent via email or WhatsApp only. Kindly provide your contact details to the school front office.
- Attested photocopies of all educational certificates must be submitted at least two days before the interview and demo class.
- Evaluation Criteria: Language and diction, clarity of thought,
confidence, grooming, personal appearance, eye contact, subject
knowledge, writing on the board, tone and clarity of voice,
communication skills, etc.
- Expected Salary: Starting salary: Rs. 30,000 for TGT. Salary
may vary based on competence, experience, qualification,
English proficiency, and last drawn salary.
General Employment Norms at this Institution:
- Ad Hoc Employment: Employment will be provided on an ad
hoc basis for the first two months (April and May). From July, a
proper service contract will be signed for 9 or 11 months.
- Leave Policy:
- No paid casual leave will be granted during the first year of the contract.
- Leave will not be granted on exam days or during important
school events. In the future, if an employee remains absent on such
days, it will be considered as loss of pay.
- Work Hours: A minimum of 7 hours of duty on the school
campus, plus 1-2 hours of lesson preparation, notebook correction,
etc., after school hours (at home).
- Reporting Time: The tentative time to report to school is 6:50 am
(this may change based on school and class timings).
- Salary Payment: All salaries will be credited to the Canara Bank,
Shastripuram branch, before the 10th of every month (previous
month's salary).
- Dress Code: Female teachers are required to wear a uniform sari
regularly, and male teachers must dress formally.
- Prohibited Behaviours: Candidates who consume gutka, pan, or
smoke will not be considered for employment.
Note: After the written screening test, kindly meet the principal
individually for a personal assessment.
